This Privacy Policy describes how KAMPERup! collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users of the website and store available at https://kamperup.pl/en.

By using the KAMPERup! website, users can browse guides, collections and educational content, sign up for the newsletter or pre-launch information list and, once sales launch, make purchases.

The KAMPERup! website and store operate using Shopify technology. This means that some data may be processed by Shopify to operate the store, provide security, technical analytics, payments, order handling and other e-commerce functions.

Depending on how you use the website or store, we may process the following categories of data:

  • customer-account data, if you create an account;
  • data relating to orders, payments, delivery, returns and complaints;
  • data relating to communications with us, such as emails and contact forms;
  • data relating to newsletter or information-list sign-up;
  • technical data, such as IP address, cookie identifiers, and information about your device, browser and operating system;
  • analytics data concerning how you use the website, such as pages visited, clicks, traffic sources, events and approximate session data;

We do not ask users to provide special-category data, such as data concerning health, political views, religious beliefs or other sensitive data.

3. Where We Obtain Data

We may obtain data:

  • directly from you, for example when you sign up for the newsletter, contact us, create an account or place an order;
  • automatically when you use the website, for example through cookies, similar technologies and analytics tools;
  • from service providers who help us operate the website and store, such as Shopify, payment providers, and providers of email, analytics or marketing tools;
  • from external partners, where you use features that require such data sharing.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • operating the KAMPERup! website and store;
  • handling orders, payments, deliveries, returns and complaints;
  • operating customer accounts;
  • communicating with users and responding to messages;
  • newsletter or pre-launch information-list sign-up;
  • sending information about the store launch and the discount code offered in the introductory promotion;
  • sending marketing content, guides, product information and promotions, where you have given consent;
  • analysing website traffic, measuring content popularity and improving the website;
  • ensuring website security, detecting abuse and protecting against fraud;
  • preparing statistics and reports;
  • complying with legal, accounting, tax and consumer-law obligations;

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the purpose of processing, the legal basis may be:

  • performance of a contract or taking steps before entering into a contract, for example handling an order;
  • a legal obligation, for example tax, accounting or complaint-handling obligations;
  • your consent, for example for the newsletter, launch list, certain cookies, analytics and marketing;
  • the controller’s legitimate interests, for example website security, defence against claims, basic statistics and responding to an enquiry.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.

6. Newsletter and Pre-Launch Information List

If you sign up for the newsletter or pre-launch information list before the KAMPERup! Store opens, we process your email address to send:

  • information about the store launch;
  • a discount code for people who sign up to the launch list;
  • guides and educational content;
  • information about KAMPERup! products, collections, new releases and promotions.

The legal basis for processing data for this purpose is your consent.

Consent is voluntary. You may withdraw it at any time, for example by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us at kontakt@kamperup.pl.

To organise the launch list, we may apply contact tags in Shopify, for example:

  • newsletter;
  • early-access;
  • launch-5;
  • kamperup-opening.

These tags are used solely to organise communications, administer the launch list and send the appropriate information.

We process an email address subscribed to the newsletter or launch list until consent is withdrawn, you unsubscribe, or the activities for which consent was granted come to an end, unless a longer retention period is required or justified by law, for example to defend against claims.

7. Introductory Promotion and 5% Discount

KAMPERup! may run an introductory promotion under which people who sign up to the information list receive a 5% discount code for their first order once sales launch.

If you sign up for the launch list, we may use your email address to send information about the store launch and the discount code, in accordance with the Introductory Promotion Terms and Conditions.

Use of the Discount Code may be subject to conditions such as an expiry date, exclusion from combination with other promotions, exclusions for selected products or non-application of the discount to delivery costs. The detailed rules are set out in the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

8. Google Analytics 4

We may use Google Analytics 4 to analyse how the KAMPERup! website is used, measure visitor numbers, traffic sources, content popularity, marketing effectiveness and website events such as clicks, navigation between pages, interactions with forms or newsletter sign-ups.

Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or similar technologies and process information such as:

  • approximate location;
  • device and browser information;
  • IP address, which may be processed technically to ensure the service operates;
  • online identifiers;
  • website events and interactions;
  • traffic sources.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or other regions where consent is required, use of Google Analytics 4 depends on the user’s consent settings in the cookie banner or privacy-preferences panel.

Shopify states that, once a consent banner and Google integration have been configured, Consent Mode may transmit information about users’ consent choices to Google. Google Consent Mode does not replace a cookie banner, but allows Google tags to adapt their operation to users’ choices.

If you do not consent to analytics or marketing cookies, the scope of data available in Google Analytics 4 may be limited.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The KAMPERup! website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • ensure the website and store function properly;
  • operate the basket, customer account, payments and security features;
  • remember user preferences;
  • generate statistics and analytics;
  • measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns;

If we use tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or similar technologies, information about how they operate should be included in this Privacy Policy or in a separate Cookie Policy.

As of the last update date of this policy, it covers Google Analytics 4. Advertising tools such as Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel must be added before they are actually implemented.

10. Shopify

The KAMPERup! Store operates using Shopify technology. Shopify may process users’ personal data to operate the store, provide hosting, security, payments, order processing, technical analytics and other e-commerce functions.

Data provided when using the store may be processed by Shopify and entities supporting Shopify, including outside your country of residence.

If additional Shopify features are enabled in the store, such as Shopify Network Intelligence, Shop Pay or other advanced services, they may require additional information in this Privacy Policy and appropriate configuration of Shopify’s customer-privacy settings.

11. Affiliate Links

The KAMPERup! website may contain affiliate links to external stores or partners.

Clicking such a link may take you to the website of an external entity, which processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

In some cases, KAMPERup! may receive a commission for a purchase made after following an affiliate link. We disclose this in the page or article where affiliate links are used.

Before participating in an affiliate programme, it is necessary to ensure that the way links and communications are labelled complies with the programme’s terms and the laws governing disclosure of advertising or affiliate content.

  • Shopify, as the store-technology provider;
  • payment providers;
  • courier and logistics companies;
  • providers of hosting, IT, security and email tools;
  • providers of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics 4;

We share data only to the extent necessary to achieve the specified purpose.
