If you are unsure which to choose: choose Dziwnów if you want a harbour, beach, promenade, bascule bridge and attractions you can combine without constantly moving the campervan. Treat Dziwnówek as a quieter base by the beach. For overnight stays, choose a campsite with clearly published site rules, and treat municipal parking as a place for sightseeing unless its rules expressly state otherwise.

Dziwnów or Dziwnówek: two towns, two ways to stay
Dziwnów and Dziwnówek are not two names for the same place. Dziwnów is the main destination in this part of the coast: it has a harbour, marina, moving bridge, promenade, beaches and family attractions. Dziwnówek is a few kilometres away and works better as a beach-and-overnight base. You can sleep among pine trees and visit Dziwnów by bike, public transport or campervan using daytime parking.

“I travel not to go anywhere, but to go.”
That thought suits the coast particularly well, but with one practical condition: choose your overnight stop before sunset. Looking for an available pitch after dark is not the romantic part of travel.
Where to stay with a campervan in Dziwnów
If you want to walk to the harbour, beach and promenade in the morning, start by looking at campsites in Dziwnów. Two places with publicly described conditions are Black Pearl and Korab. Do not choose based only on distance from the sea. Also check the end of the camping day, electricity, water, waste disposal and whether late arrival is possible after reception closes.
Camping Black Pearl
Camping Black Pearl is at Dziwna 8A. The site lists 35 pitches with access to electricity and water, a disposal point and sanitary facilities. Reception is open from 09:00 to 20:00, so late arrival needs to be agreed in advance.
According to the 2026 price list, a pitch for two people costs PLN 100 in May and September, and PLN 120 from June to August. Electricity costs an additional PLN 35. An additional adult costs PLN 30, a child aged 3 to 16 costs PLN 15, and children under 3 stay free. There is a PLN 10 charge for a pet. Before booking, check which services are included with your selected pitch.
Camping Korab
Camping Korab at Słowackiego 8 is around 200 metres from the sea. The camping day runs from 15:00 to 11:00. In 2026, an adult costs PLN 40, a child aged 4 to 10 costs PLN 30, a campervan costs PLN 55, electricity costs PLN 35 and a dog costs PLN 20.
For two adults, a campervan and an electric hook-up, that gives an example total of PLN 170 per night. This is a simple calculation, not a guaranteed booking price. The site also lists a 10% discount in May, from 1 to 19 June and in September. Confirm discount conditions and availability directly before arriving.
Municipal parking in Dziwnów: good for sightseeing, not automatically for overnight stays
Municipal parking makes sense when you want to leave the vehicle for a few hours and walk through the town centre. Do not assume that paying for a ticket allows you to put out an awning, chairs or stay overnight. That depends on the rules for the specific car park and the signs on site.
In 2026, Dziwnów's paid central parking zone operates from 15 June to 15 September, every day from 08:00 to 20:00. The first 30 minutes for a passenger car cost PLN 2.50, the first hour costs PLN 5, the second PLN 6, the third PLN 7, and the fourth and every following hour cost PLN 5. A day ticket costs PLN 40. For coaches and vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, the rate is PLN 8 for the first and every following hour.
Municipal parking includes, among other places, areas at Kościelna, Słowackiego, Sienkiewicza, Spadochroniarzy Polskich and Marynarki Wojennej streets, as well as the Żeromskiego and Osiedle Rybackie areas. Their suitability depends on your campervan's dimensions and current signs. The official rules, parking locations and charges are published by the Municipality of Dziwnów in its 2026 resolution.
If you are arriving in a large vehicle for the first time, check the entrance and signs first. It is easier to turn around before entering a narrow lane than to look for room to manoeuvre among parked cars.
Dziwnówek as a quieter overnight base
Dziwnówek has fewer urban attractions than Dziwnów, but makes up for that with beach access and campsites among trees. It is a good option if you want to walk to the sea in the morning and visit Dziwnów separately.
Camping Wiking
Camping Wiking at Wolności 3 occupies a pine forest site and has its own beach access around 50 metres away. The campsite lists sanitary facilities, an outdoor kitchen, shop, playground, sports facilities and internet access.
In the 2026 high season, an adult costs PLN 49.50, a campervan costs PLN 68 to 88 depending on size, and electricity costs PLN 46. For two adults, a campervan and electricity, the indicative total is PLN 213 to 233 per night. Confirm prices and availability before arriving, particularly in July and August.
Camping Biały Dom
Camping Biały Dom at Kamieńska 12 is around 50 metres from the beach. The site describes pitches of at least 100 m², sanitary facilities, a kitchen, laundry, a portable-toilet disposal point and a restaurant. Its rules state that the camping day runs from 12:00 to 11:00, payment is by cash and pets are not permitted.
In the 2026 price list, a basic pitch costs PLN 120 outside high season and PLN 146 from 26 June to 23 August. An adult costs PLN 40 or 49 respectively, and electricity costs PLN 45. Confirm how charges are calculated for your selected set-up with reception because the price depends on the pitch type.
Site at 1 Maja 14A
Available materials include a photographed price list from 2025: campervan PLN 65, adult PLN 25, child under 7 PLN 10, car PLN 20 and utilities PLN 25. However, there is no publicly available, current site policy for 2026. Treat these prices as archived information only. Before arrival, call +48 500 661 080 and ask about the current prices, camping-day times, sanitary facilities and waste-disposal rules.
What to see in Dziwnów
Dziwnów's biggest advantage is that several different attractions can be combined into one walk. The harbour, bridge, promenade and beach do not require moving your campervan throughout the day. The Miniature and Railway Park, cycling route and a trip to Kamień Pomorski need a separate plan. Before arriving, compare your plan with the current information on the official Dziwnów Municipality attractions page, as seasonal opening hours may change.
The bascule bridge, harbour and a cruise on the Dziwna River
The red bridge over the Dziwna River is part of everyday traffic and one of the town's most distinctive landmarks. Each opening takes about 15 minutes. As a rule, the bridge opens as needed on even hours, with additional openings at 13:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00 from 15 June to 30 September. The timetable may change, so check it on the municipality website before your walk.
Allow 45 to 75 minutes for the bridge, harbour and waterfront. If you add a cruise, allow half a day. Seasonal cruises depart from the waterfront at Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie. The “Korsarz” route through the bridge towards the Baltic takes around 1.5 hours, while the “Victoria I” route via the Kamieński Lagoon to Kamień Pomorski takes around 2.5 hours. Check the operator, times and prices on the same day because they depend on the season and conditions.
The beach, promenade and Sports Stars Avenue
Allow 1.5 to 2.5 hours for a relaxed promenade walk and a short beach stop. The promenade route is more than 2 km long and passes varied sections by forest and dunes. There are benches, toilets and bins, so it also works well with children or when you are not planning a full beach day.
The Sports Stars Avenue displays replicas of medals won by Polish athletes. You can see it during your walk without creating a separate route. According to the Dziwnów Municipality announcement, the 24th Sports Stars Festival will take place on 14 and 15 August 2026. Expect heavier traffic at that time and book your overnight stay early.
Martwa Dziwna: the quieter side of town
Martwa Dziwna is a former river mouth, now a cut-off body of water and a peaceful walking area. It is not a swimming area. Visit for birds, vegetation and a break from the promenade. There are green areas with shelters on the eastern bank, around a 15-minute walk from the bridge.
Allow 45 to 60 minutes for a basic walk. If you continue along the northern bank towards Międzywodzie, add around 40 minutes each way. On this section, take water and comfortable shoes rather than relying on extensive visitor infrastructure.
Miniature and Railway Park
Miniature and Railway Park at Marynarki Wojennej 15 has nearly 30 lighthouse miniatures at a 1:10 scale, more than one kilometre of model railway tracks and a park train. Allow 1.5 to 2.5 hours, especially with children or on a day when the weather is not ideal for the beach.
According to the official price list checked on 21 August 2026, a standard ticket costs PLN 45, a concession ticket PLN 38 and a family ticket PLN 155. Parking for visitors is free. Check opening hours and the current price list before visiting.
Butterfly House and Nautica Park Maritime Science Centre
The Butterfly House is a seasonal attraction: a warm, humid space with exotic butterflies, educational displays and an incubator. A visit usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. There is also mini golf and a playground nearby, so this stop is easy to combine with a family afternoon.
The Nautica Park Maritime Science Centre focuses on the history and environment of the Baltic Sea. A guided visit takes around 90 minutes and may require advance booking. Check the season, opening hours and availability before arriving.
Cycling around Lake Koprowo
The loop around Lake Koprowo is around 30 km and mostly follows flat terrain. At an easy pace with stops, allow 2.5 to 4 hours. The route uses several marked trails, so download offline navigation and do not rely solely on trail-colour markings. Signs can change.

Dziwnówek and the surrounding area: beach, local symbols and Kamień Pomorski
Dziwnówek is smaller, so treat its attractions as a peaceful addition to your stay rather than competition for a full day in Dziwnów. Allow 1.5 to 3 hours for a short walk through the centre and beach.
The symbolic lighthouse, sundial and fountains
In the centre, there is a small symbolic lighthouse adapted as a retail point. Nearby is a spiral sundial, while illuminated fountains draw attention in the evening. This is a short route for a beach walk or an after-dinner stroll, without needing to move the campervan.
Windsurfing and the beach
Dziwnówek is associated with water sports and a quieter beach stay. Windsurfing conditions depend on weather and the operating schools, so book activities with a currently active operator. After a storm or in strong winds, check bathing-area notices in the official GIS Bathing Water Service.
Kamień Pomorski as a half-day trip
Kamień Pomorski is around a 15-minute drive from Dziwnów. By bike, it is around 15 km each way. You can combine the cathedral, Gothic town hall and Stone Museum with a viewpoint. Allow 3 to 5 hours, depending on your transport and how many interiors you visit.
Ready-made sightseeing plans without constantly moving the campervan
3 to 4-hour option
- Leave your campervan in legal daytime parking or at a campsite.
- Walk to the bascule bridge and harbour waterfront.
- Continue towards the promenade and beach.
- Finish at the Sports Stars Avenue or return through the town centre.
Full-day option
- See the bridge and harbour in the morning, ideally close to a planned bridge opening.
- Walk along the promenade and rest at the beach.
- Choose the Miniature and Railway Park or Nautica Park in the afternoon.
- Walk to Martwa Dziwna in the evening or return to the waterfront.
Two-day option
Use the first day for Dziwnów: the bridge, harbour, promenade, beach and one ticketed attraction. On the second day, choose the cycling loop around Koprowo, Dziwnówek or Kamień Pomorski. This structure reduces rushing and lets you leave the campervan on its pitch.
Sample scenario: two people, two nights and a 7.2 m campervan
This is a planning scenario based on published rules and prices, not an account of an actual stay.
Assume that two people arrive on Friday at 18:30 in a 7.2 m campervan. They want to see Dziwnów, but do not yet know whether they will go to Dziwnówek the next day. Their first idea is municipal parking near the centre. They decide against it for the night because a parking charge does not confirm the right to camp or access campervan facilities.
After confirming availability in advance, they choose Black Pearl. In the 2026 high season, a pitch for two costs PLN 120 and electricity PLN 35, giving PLN 155 per night. Two nights would cost PLN 310 in this example. On Saturday, the campervan stays on the pitch: the bridge and harbour in the morning, the promenade and beach later, then the Miniature Park in the afternoon. On Sunday, they take a walk around Martwa Dziwna before leaving.
The key conclusion is not about choosing one particular campsite. It is about the order of decisions: first a legal overnight stay and a pitch suited to your vehicle dimensions, then the attractions. This keeps the plan from falling apart on arrival and stops the campervan becoming a tool for searching for another car park all weekend.

- confirm grey-water disposal and whether you can empty the toilet cassette;
- do not plan an overnight stay in municipal parking without checking the rules;
- check the current bridge timetable, cruises and seasonal attractions;
- download an offline map and save campsite telephone numbers;
- check water-quality notices and weather conditions before heading to the beach.
